- Serving as a Member of the Nevada Economic Forum (January 2010 to the present), which obtains economic outlook and tax forecasts, as well as votes on revenue forecasts for the state.
- Serving as a Member of the Clark County School District Bond Oversight Committee (April 2009-March 2011), which oversees capital investments for the school districts (buildings and technology).
- Serving two Presidents (Clinton and Bush) by auditing the White House Travel Office and restoring sound financial practices to the organization and performing the close-out audit of the Panama Canal Commission to settle treaty obligations.
- Saving the American taxpayers over $1 million dollars a day in contractor waste, fraud and abuse in U.S. Navy shipbuilding by developing highly sophisticated, costing accounting models and contract monitoring programs
- Performing audits of many independent federal agencies, charter schools, non-profit organizations and private companies, guiding them toward sound financial practices.
Serving as an adjunct professor of accounting for 10 years in community college.My education and professional licenses include:
- Masters of Science (1989) and Bachelors of Science (1986) in accounting from Binghamton University
- Recipient of the National Association of Accountants Award of Excellence in Graduate Studies in 1989
- Earned my Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license in 1990
- Earned my Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) certification in 1995
